Doctor or Emergency Room Benefit

Visit the doctor of your choice and we will pay the Per Visit Amount shown in the Benefits Table, up to the Maximum number of Visits Per Year. The benefit amount is for medical charges due to a covered illness. Charges for injuries caused by an accident are covered under the Accident Medical Benefit only.

So, for example, if you have a fever, sore throat, or other illness that can't wait for a doctor's office appointment, and needs urgent care, this is the benefit you would apply.
